summer is gone

festivals:

work: good oxegen and painful electric picnic

music: both great to discover new acts

people: i really have some great colleagues who are now my friends, most of them are sound engineers and not lighting technicians though

 

work and the economy:

a crappy year that hit our business big time, the lack of jobs (no more conferences from big companies, wage cut in venues, and budget cut for outdoor events) has transformed this business in some kinda of rivalry between people, bargaining wages, fighting to get the gig, criticizing openly other colleagues. this is not like a family any more, it is turning into a big irrespectful unethical corporate business and it sucks.

-acceptance

 

i'm still in between steps 3 and 4.

it's a long road.
