All My Sons was the first great success of Arthur Miller's supremely influential career and the play that launched him as one of the leading dramatists of the twentieth century. With a career that spanned over 50 years, Miller‘s probing dramas, which include Death of a Salesman, The Crucible and A View from the Bridge, transformed American Theatre and earned him numerous awards including the Pulitzer Prize.

In the aftermath of World War II, two families struggle to come to terms with the brutal reality of what they have lost and gained. The confrontations that ensue lead to the uncovering of a shameful family secret. Provocative and heart-breaking, All My Sons is a compelling story of love, guilt and the corrupting power of greed.

yummm

i'm inviting friends over for a late lunch,

this is an idea for the menu

vine tomatoes with mediterannean vinaigrette and fresh mozarella

chicken marinated in rosemary, thyme, garlic and olive oil

roasted potatoes with balsamic vinegar

cinnamon fried carotts

caramelised apples

i can't wait to eat that, honestly it's really easy, it's multicultural, it's good and it's cheap as well: carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, chicken and apples! all you need is some basic herbs and ingredients.

a bit of a mix

according to facebook quizzes

my language is spanish

i'm british

my ideal country to live in is Egypt

i should be living in paris

is -being french/ living in an english-speaking country/ near the seaside/ with a flat full of spanish, chilean and moroccan stuff- a good compromise?

water

i went to the beach today! and got my converse and feet totally soaked but i didn't care. it was so much fun with the wind and it wasn't too cold. we stayed there walking around for two hours.

i also discovered a really nice path to go running along the sea along the beach, going through the irishtown naturepark up to a lighthouse.

oh yeah it's not in Dun Laoghaire but 15mn away by train. it's near sydney parade/sandymount/landsdowne road for those of you that have a map of dublin with the dart stations! so it's half way from the centre where derek -my buddy to go running- lives and from my place.

and i also officially paid the membership for sailing classes.

now i'm really gonna enjoy the irish sea, it's a pity to live on an island and not appreciate the sea when it's something you love!

and it might help me getting fit and lose that beer belly that has started to show up!!!

back from the

...

i moved to dun laoghaire last wednesday. still no internet.

new flat is brilliant, big, bright and cosy.

i'll post pictures of how it was before and how i arranged it.

it is now my nice moroccan/spanish/french own home.

and dun laoghaire is such a great place to be. any shops you want. everything 5mn walk. farmer's market next door every sunday. tennis court in front of the house.

going to the train station or the shops and seeing the sea from the street with the boats puts a smile on my face.

and though everytime i smile, i'm crying from inside, thinking how my father would have loved this place.

Victoires de la Musique 2009

The Do: surprising french band who are not french in the way they play live, create nice pop, sing in English and are spontaneous.

Bashung: a talented artist who got well rewarded before it's too late.

Arthur H: an original and nice man.

Anais/ Camille: starting becoming boring.

Julien Dore: does he have any other song than his hit? because it is nice but a bit too repetitive after a while.

Mademoiselle K/ Stanislas/ Peps: oh god, this is crap, either an imitation or no talent at all.
