nice carrot cake

2 1/2 cups flour /2 1/2 verres de farine
2 tsp baking soda/ 2 cuilleres a cafe de levure
1/2 tsp salt/ 1/2 cuillere a cafe de sel
2 tsp cinnamon/ 2 cuilleres a cafe de cannelle
1/4 tsp nutmeg/ 1/4 cuillere a cafe de noix de muscade
2 1/2 cups sugar/ 2 1/2 verres de sucre
3 large eggs/ 3 oeufs
2/3 cup butter, melted and cooled/ 2/3 verre de beurre fondu refroidi
1/2 cup orange juice/ 1/2 verre de jus d'orange
1 tsp vanilla/ 1 cuillere de vanille
3 cups shredded carrots (about 4 large carrots)/ 4 grosses carottes rapees
1 cup raisins/ un verre de raisins secs

Preheat oven to 350F. / prechauffer le four a 180 degres.

Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan./ graisser un moule.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt and spices./ dans un large bol melanger la farine, la levure, le sel et les epices.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, butter, orange juice and vanilla until smooth. /dans un bol moyen, melanger sucre, oeufs, jus d'orange, et la vanille.

Pour into dry ingredients and stir until almost combined. /verser ce melange dans le melange precedent et remuez bien.

Stir in shredded carrots, followed by raisins. / ajouter les carottes rapees et les raisins secs.

Pour cake batter into prepared pan./ verser la preparation dans le moule.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, until a tester inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean./ cuire pendant 45-50mn jusqu'a ce que le couteau plante au centre ressorte sans traces.
