stupid and pathetic

the amount of people and the amount of cocaine people snort/ gum/ eat in Ireland is becoming so huge!

and everyone seems to think it is normal/ cool/ not dangerous.

anyway, when I see this:

-Kevin Doyle, 21, died at Waterford Regional Hospital this afternoon. Mr Doyle had just overcome a battle with cancer and went out on the weekend before last in Waterford city. -23-year-old John Grey from Ballybeg in Waterford city died today at Waterford Regional Hospital. A large group went back to a house party and some at the party ate damp cocaine. (http://www.rte.ie/news/2007/1208/waterford.html)

- A post mortem examination has concluded that the model Katy French suffered brain damage. It has also emerged tonight that the 24-year-old, who died yesterday evening, had taken cocaine before she was admitted to hospital early on Sunday morning. (http://www.rte.ie/news/2007/1207/frenchk.html)

 

i am happy i don't do drugs. i don't need cocaine to stay awake and party the whole night... i just need food to keep me going between vodkas/ beers etc... some people take drugs because they aren't well in their life but loads of people just take cocaine to give them a buzz for a night out and to do like their friends... if you can't keep up the pace because you are not young enough anymore/ tired because of work, just go to bed you eejit! it is ALRIGHT to be tired and leave the party before your friends! stop worrying about what others are thinking and think about you... they are not more important and perfect than you to judge you.

and of course it is dangerous for everyone (loads of people just said that they know their limits and know how much they can snort before an overdose) because you simply don't know what's in it! you don't know if it is pure or not at all, if it is strong or just shitty product...

i spent a whole week-end being surrounded by friends doing amphetamins, cocaine and so many other drugs... but i didn't touch drugs, and they were ok with that and even admired me because i spent the whole week-end sleeping only 4 hours without drugs... and i was still more jumping than them on sunday while i was listening to Iggy Pop and Primal Scream!!!

i don't know, it just annoys me so much that people are dying because they thought they can have super powers and party forever. and i have so many friends touching this shit that i am actually worried.
