GALLOWS Announce Support Act For VOODOO LOUNGE Show

Gallows

Californian Hardcore Punk band, Revolution Mother, have been confirmed as support for Gallows upcoming Voodoo Lounge show on 28 September. The bands have just finished the Warped Tour of the United States. Tickets priced €15.50 incl. booking fee are available now from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.

Since they have been back in the U.K. Gallows have played the Reading & Leeds festival and picked up the award for best British Newcomer at the Kerrang awards.

Since forming the band in 2005 Gallows have destroyed stages with the likes of Papa Roach, Amy Winehouse, New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World and Motion City Soundtrack. Their debut album 'Orchestra of Wolves' is on release through Warner Bros and is available now in a special CD/DVD edition.

The Watford band made a real impression at this year's South by South West Festival in Texas and recently topped the MTV 2/NME Chart with their hit Abandon Ship, knocking Biffy Clyro off the top spot.

Not content with that the band have also officially been branded the loudest band on the planet after guitarists Laurent Bernard and Steph Carter broke the world record for noise produced by a guitar and bass, when the two hooked up with Laney Amps and The Brighton Institute of Modern Music in June. Afterward’s Laurent said "We had to wear ear-defenders and ear plugs at the same time, it was pretty intense! You could feel the sound blasting through the amps.”

i've got my ticket!

Fucking tragedy!

2007

http://www.nme.com/news/smashing-pumpkins/31384

A fan died at a Smashing Pumpkins gig in Vancouver, Canada on Monday night (September 24), after being involved in what police described as a "mosh pit or crowd-surfing incident".

1996

http://smashingpumpkinsblog.blogspot.com/2007/06/history-...

In May, the Smashing Pumpkins played a gig at The Point Theatre in Dublin, Ireland. The venue was overcrowded and despite the band's repeated requests for moshing to stop, a seventeen-year-old fan named Bernadette O'Brien was crushed to death.

what now???

explanation:

recent concerts

went to see Paddy Casey private show

in a small venue, the Eamon Dorans a great sound thanks to Sean who did a fantastic job (we always thought it was the shitty PA which was the cause of the crappy sound... well Sean proved it was not the PA...), Maty set up loads of lights and a desk which gave the room a new atmosphere, making it bigger and nicer. the audience were really into it, except for noelle and myself that are not fans at all. he is brilliant indeed but this is just not my type of music. fantastic moment when he invited a 10 years old boy to play guitar and sing with him... wonderful! (interviewed by Hotpress after the gig... lol i didn't know what to say on Paddy Casey as i was there purely to have a good night with Noelle and Maty who was working at the gig... p 33 of the Hotpress, a picture, an interview and they mispelled my name... and noelle's name as well... ;-)

went to see The Pale, Dark Room Notes, Royseven and many other artists at the Sunday Roast in the Spiegeltent

The Pale is a ska-reggae-rock band which make you move your ass, Dark Room Notes are an excellent electro rock band, Royseven played their new songs to a small crowd that were really sceptical... a weird night, sadness because of the end of the fringe festival, relief as well, and happiness to see most of the staff at the same time... they went to the tivoli after... i didn't because i was totally knackered.
