The Chapters

SUPERJIMENEZ

SUPERJIMENEZ! 'Is it a bird?' 'Is it a plane?' Is it a fat Mexican cartoon superhero? No, gladly, it is a seriously impressive four-piece musical ensemble packing enough punch to ruin Prom.. Taking off in April '06 with their debut single 'Helicopters' (a top 20 hit) the band haven't looked down since, landing gigs at the Oxegen Festival, HWCH and the Music Ireland Festival at the RDS in November on the way to releasing their forthcoming single 'Beau' in February.

ilya K

ilya K were formed in late 2004. In 2005 they released their debut single - Blackout/ice - which received great reviews and regular airplay. In 2006 they had a song selected for a Sofa Records compilation and released a split 7'' single with Gorbachov called Glass Eyes. They've been gigging frequently around the country for the past year or so and have been generating a great deal of interest wherever they play with their explosive live shows.

Philtre

Tralee based rock act Philtre was formed in the summer of 2004 by Junior Abdulsalam, Tom Leahy and Padraig Dillane. They strived at great lengths to create their own distinctive sound centered on melodic riffing, aggressive vocals and addictive choruses and their music has been described as infectious alternative rock.

Constant gigging saw Philtre sharing the stage with Republic of Loose at the Killarney Summer fest. Throughout 2005 also saw them play with Leya, Delorentos, Vesta Varro and The Flaws. January 2006 brought the release of debut EP "Bullet from nowhere" with the headline track being featured on RTE The Sunday Game.
