j'ai regarde Stand By Me de Rob Reiner hier soir.

et j'ai decouvert que River Phoenix jouait dans ce film.

j'admirais deja son frere, Joaquin Phoenix... que j'ai vu avec grand plaisir dans Walk The Line.

cette famille est incroyable...

un grand grand parc (712 hectares) en plein Dublin...

du soleil, et une belle promenade...

"Phoenix Park est un vaste parc de Dublin situé à 3 km au nord-ouest du centre ville. Le parc d'une superficie de 712 ha et d'une circonférence de 11 km² est le second plus grand parc citadin d'Europe après Sutton Park à Birmingham en Grande-Bretagne. Le parc est constitué de grandes pelouses, d'avenues bordées d'arbres et de zones boisées, on y trouve aussi des terrains de sport pour le polo et le cricket. Il abrite également à un troupeau de daims sauvages.Le nom du Park vient de sa prononciation en gaëlique fionn uisce qui signifie eaux claires.Régulièrement en été le parc permet à de nombreux groupes musicaux de se produire en plein air (U2 en 2004, The Cranberries en 2001...).

"Phoenix Park (in Irish, Páirc an Fhionn-Uisce) is a large park located 3 km to the north west of Dublin city centre, Ireland. It measures 712 hectares (1752 acres), with a walled circumference of 11 km. It contains large areas of grassland, tree-lined avenues and many areas of dense forest. The park is home to a herd of wild Fallow deer.It is one of the largest enclosed city parks in Europe. Richmond Park in London, England is larger at 2,500 acres (10 km²). Phoenix Park is larger than both Central Park in New York and Hyde Park in London.

The residence of the President of Ireland (Áras an Uachtaráin), the residence of the United States ambassador to Ireland (Deerfield Residence), and the headquarters of the Irish national police force, An Garda Síochána, are located inside Phoenix Park. Also located inside the park is Dublin Zoo, several sportsgrounds for football, soccer, cricket and polo, the Wellington Monument, a 62m (205 foot) tall obelisk memorial for the Duke of Wellington, and the Papal Cross, erected for the visit of Pope John Paul II in 1979. An estimated million people attended an open air mass in the park at the time. It also contains the Phoenix Park visitor centre and Ashtown Castle, a restored medieval tower house. The State Guest House, Farmleigh, adjoins the park to the north-west. The South-Western corner of the park is known as the Furry Glen and has a beautiful series of walks centred around a lake with lots of birds, plants and wildlife.

The name is a corruption of the Irish fionn uisce meaning "clear water". The park is featured prominently in James Joyce's novel, Finnegans Wake. It is occasionally used for open-air concerts and the annual Phoenix Park Motor Races. It is also a notorious crusing ground and hang-out for male prostitutes."

Et puis, mardi 2 mai, vers 22 heures, alors qu'il attendait la sortie du public venu visionner en avant-première son film Dans la peau de Jacques Chirac, qui sortira sur les écrans le 31 mai, Karl Zéro a reçu un coup de fil de Rodolphe Belmer, le directeur général de Canal+. ""Le Vrai journal" est supprimé à la rentrée. Ta remplaçante s'appelle Laurence Ferrari", lui a-t-il dit froidement. Karl Zéro reconnaît que ce fut un gros coup de massue. Cet appel redouté signait la fin de dix-huit ans de collaboration avec Canal+, et surtout le prochain dépôt de bilan de sa société de production, La Société du spectacle, entièrement dépendante économiquement de la chaîne cryptée. Trente-quatre salariés à licencier.
